If a client switches from DVH Legacy to the DVH Select plan, do they start over with lower benefit amounts in year 1 or do they get credit for prior time with DVH and go to the higher benefit amounts?
Switching from DVH Legacy to DVH Select is considered a conversion, meaning a new policy is issued and no credits apply. Waiting periods are also not waived.
