What is the Fast-50 benefit with Short-Term Care?

The Fast-50™ benefit is a built-in feature of the OmniFlex™ Short-Term Care plan. It allows the policyholder to receive 50% of the Accrued Daily Benefit for each day they qualify for Facility Care or Home Health Care — and it pays out from the very first day as it waives the elimination period on the policy. This benefit can even be used if care is provided by a spouse, family member, or trusted friend, making it flexible for home-based or informal care arrangements. If you decide to switch from the Fast-50 benefit to full Facility Care or Home Health Care benefits later, you'll need to fulfill any elimination period required at that time. The Fast-50 funds are paid directly to you and can be used as you choose.
