How are elimination days calculated on the Home Health Care Rider for the OmniFlex Short-Term Care plan? 

The elimination period is based on the number of days the insured actually receives Home Health Care (HHC) services, not consecutive calendar days beginning with the first date of service.

Example: If the insured receives HHC services on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, then 3 days are counted toward the elimination period, not 5 calendar days.
